Mike Kennedy was born and raised in Ireland where he obtained a B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Ulster and a M.S. degree in Statistics from Trinity College in Dublin. He spent 25 years in the computer software industry working in Dublin, London, Chicago, San Francisco, and San Jose.

Mike took early retirement in 2003 and now works as a professional math tutor in Marin. He helps middle and high school students at all levels of competence.

Mike and his wife, Noreen, are residents of Kentfield and parents of four children who attended Bacich, Kent, Redwood, and Branson schools. All four children earned degrees in engineering and science-related majors.

When not tutoring, Mike can be found following soccer, hiking on Mt Tam, or traveling to visit family in Ireland.
